About ForestBase Toolkit

Manchester-based analysts who specialise in mobile versus desktop conversion comparison and the visuals that make the differences impossible to ignore.

Registered business

ForestBase Toolkit is the official registered trading name of the practice. We operate from Office 10, 34 Demo Road, Manchester ZZ2 2AD, serving clients across Great Britain.

Established 2016

ForestBase Toolkit was established in 2016, when three analysts who had spent years arguing about “mobile is fine” versus “desktop still pays the bills” decided to specialise in one craft: comparing conversion on phones and computers, then drawing the findings so non-analysts could decide quickly.

Early work focused on mid-size UK retailers whose analytics exports filled folders but never settled the device debate. Over time we added funnel illustration briefs, monthly device health reviews, and facilitated workshops. The through-line stayed the same — clear pictures of where each device wins or loses.

How we work

We treat analytics as raw material for decision posters, not as an end in itself. Engagements begin with funnel definition and data access, move through quality checks and visualisation, and close with a ranked brief. We stay independent of media agencies and redesign studios so recommendations remain candid.

Values that show up in the work

  • Prefer one honest chart over twenty decorative ones
  • Name uncertainty when sample sizes are thin
  • Write for the people who approve budgets, not only for analysts
  • Keep GB trading calendars (sales periods, bank holidays) in view when reading trends
