Refunds and cancellations

These terms apply to commissioned comparison studies, funnel illustration briefs, visualisation workshops, and monthly device health reviews. This website does not sell physical goods or software licences.

Eligibility

Refunds are considered when ForestBase Toolkit cancels an engagement before meaningful work begins, or when we materially fail to deliver the agreed deliverables after a reasonable cure period. Change of mind after data access, draft boards, or workshop facilitation has started may qualify only for a partial refund as described below.

Timeframe to request

Contact hello@toolkitforestbase.click or +44 161 000 5410 within 14 days of the invoice date or the event giving rise to the request, whichever is later, and before final deliverables are accepted in writing.

Full refund

A full refund of fees paid applies if we cancel before kickoff, or if we cannot obtain agreed data access for reasons solely on our side and no substitute scope is agreed within 10 working days.

Partial refund

If you cancel after kickoff but before draft visualisation boards (or workshop delivery), we may refund fees minus time already worked at our quoted day rate and any non-recoverable third-party costs. After draft boards are delivered, fees for completed stages are non-refundable; remaining prepaid stages may be refunded or credited by agreement.

Non-refundable items

• Deposits that secure a reserved workshop date within 7 days of the session once facilitation prep has begun
• Completed monthly review cycles already delivered
• Third-party costs approved by you in writing (for example venue hire for an on-site session)

Process

Email hello@toolkitforestbase.click with your invoice number, engagement name, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five working days and, if approved, process the refund within 14 working days to the original payment method where possible.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Workshops may be rescheduled once without charge if you give at least 5 working days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee of 20% of the session fee. Monthly reviews continue until cancelled with 30 days’ notice after any minimum term in the quote.

No-shows

If your team does not attend a booked workshop without notice, the session fee is forfeited. We will offer one courtesy reschedule at our discretion for documented emergencies.

Work already started and materials

Boards and briefs already produced remain billable. Preparatory extracts from your analytics stay confidential and are deleted or returned on request after settlement, subject to legal retention duties.

Exceptions

Statutory rights under UK consumer law remain unaffected where you contract as a consumer. Most clients engage as businesses; consumer cooling-off rights may not apply to bespoke professional services once work has begun with your agreement.
